Today my mind is on music. I have listen to every track on Khleo Thomas debut mixtape The World is A Cartoon. It’s the world in which he see’s it. My over all opinion on this mixtape is that its damn good. I look forward to hearing more from Mr. Thomas. He touches on Love, Fame, Sex, and Swagg. It has a little bit for everyone. The World Is a Cartoon- Its the mixtape title, he makes various metaphors referring to cartoons, but nothing to unnecessary. quite entertaining.
Car Show- It’s something you can bang your head too. This is more of a mainstream song, something you would hear parties, people will most likely be quoting it, and try live up to it’s lyrics.
Who I Am- Shows a reflection of heartbreak it can be related to by someone who is just cutting of the world to get over someone who played them for the fool. Its one of those I had a bad songs.
So Gone- This track is bomb, its on some I am gone, and over it. Deuces bitch, go Run tell that, I am sure these niggas are going to be dedicated this to they ex’s.
Toot it & Boot it- The song mos def explains its self, eat beat it, skeet it, and buh bye. Its the catch phrase sweeping California.
Lay You Down- Its a sex track, he takes the listener through the process of his sex game. Its 100% something for the ladies makes you disappear into the song, makes you want to do the do.
Love Drug- This track lets you know that the artist thinks of his self as addicted like a drug. One hit is never enough.
2urheart- It’s about a lost love. Anyone can relate to this song. Sometimes you ned to stop and listen 2urheart.
Lied to Me- Did me wrong, leave all the shit I bought, I am going to fuck ya friend, so take your dog and go to your moms, you lied to me. Yeah your hurt me but go ahead and get ghost. Hahaha dope track.
Dreaming- Am I dreaming. Make it real, come back. Its about missing someone.
Only You- He once again is talking about a female, A special girl. She’s the apple in his eye, sweet like sugar.
Break up- You love me be you wanna leave me. Ok lets work it out, wait naw nevermind I am gone. He’s a fool for this one entertaining and catchy lyrics.
Bow Drop/ My Stats- Starts with a intro from Bow Wow. This track is about his talents, he’s proving his point, so far it’s one of my favorite tracks, he’s cocky and condfident.
Slow Motion Remix- To me its about girls being on his nut sack, and how he aint with the games, and he can beat it out the frame oh boy is a freak for real.
Are you that freak? - Hahaha he’s a freak thats all I can say about this track, he’s a walking E pill hahaha WTF sweating out weaves and shit.
Swag Like Mine FT. Audio Push - A brag and boast about there swag. No one has one like theres, hell the title explains it all.
My Dog Ft G.Austin & The Dream- Talks about his girl, being his homie lover friend. How she is just like him, that’s his dog. Close like a brother, real with a nigga she holds him down.
Purple Yellow Mango FT Soulja Boy- Its a club banger, talks about his colorful swag. Purple Yellow Mango I am fly from head to ankle, all these different colors shawty can you taste the rainbow.
4 West Best Ft Tay F 3rd, YG, and G. Austin- Khleo get’s off first the ladies man, Then YG the gangsta, G.Austin the modern day Quincy Jones, and last but not least Tay F 3rd you call him Mr. I am weird, yeah I know. This track get off for the west coast mos def loving it. They did the damn thing *Round Of Applause*
He ends his mixtape with a thank you, to all the supporters of the mixtape. It's an overall A in my grade book.
